I included a frame. This piece is actually for a friend/senior of mine. She asked me to paint/write this verse so she could hang it in her room because this verse means a lot to her. I realised that it really resonated with me as well and if not for her, I wouldn't have had that opportunity and the chance or inspiration to do this.
I also want to take a moment to thank my amazing boyfriend for cutting the border inside the frame to a suitable size for me (because he was scared that I'd hurt myself hahaha) and for being so supportive and loving everyday.
Last but certainly not the least, I want to thank the Man upstairs for his love, patience and mercy.
Came up with a poem for this verse:
"For I know the plans I have for you,"
declares The Lord,
don't fear what's to come
He will be your shield and sword.
"Plans to prosper you and not to harm you,"
He asserts with vim.
His promises will never fail
for He is Almighty God, Elohim.
Things may be tough at the moment
as good things are rarer and fewer
but know that you have a purpose
for He has "plans to give you hope and a future."
"Then you will call on me and come and pray to me,
and I will listen to you,"
So let us let go and let God;
He knows what to do.
