Painting this piece was such a roller coaster ride. I haven't painted with acrylic in a while so this was a good refresher.

I thought this piece was going to look so horrible because I was so unorganized and I didn't know how to go about painting it.

I started at the bottom with the navy paint then worked my way up very messily. The worst part was painting Jesus because I really didn't do it well. The skin tone was off, the shape was off, the angle was off - everything seemed off. But thankfully, I didn't give up. By God's grace, I pulled through and this is the end result :)

I have been trying to connect to God more again and I feel like this was a good first step.
